SCPASA SUMMIT 2013

dreeewjaay:

I am proud to announce that SCPASA Summit 2013 will be hosted by The Pilipino American Coalition of Cal-State Long Beach.

ONE NATION, ASSEMBLE!

jmigs:

I spent one year with these ridiculous kids. We’ve had our ups and downs, but I couldn’t be any prouder of what we’ve accomplished. From crossfaded nights to handling last minute bus details. I have hundreds of memories with this group of people I call family. Although I couldn’t be there all the time, whenever I was, I found a home with them. I’m gonna miss you guys! Sausage cab. Best cab. Cabalry. PAC Cabinet 2011-2012.

It’s Finally Happening

dreeewjaay:

Introducing to you, my cabinet- PAC’s 2012-2013 PAC Cabinet. Looking at the people in this picture gets me really excited for what’s to come in the next year for this family. Today at PGrad, it finally hit me that I’m President. It’s a scary feeling, but also an exciting one as well.  I just need to have the confidence and trust in myself that I know what I’m doing. I have a promising cabinet as well as a strong EBoard as my backbone. Let’s do work and make the next year of PAC, CUHRACKIN’ ;]  YEE YEE.

I hope to see many of you at events next year!

that is all <3

Pilipino American Coalition’s 27th Annual Pilipino Culture Night
“RHYTHM CULTURE”
Saturday, April 7, 2012

I cannot believe how quickly this PCN season has gone. Most definitely a year unlike any other. And I can’t believe it’s over. Tomorrow at 6pm, when I walk pass Robeks, I already know all these feelings are going to take over my body and I’m going to really feel the hit of PCN withdrawals. Thank you to everyone who has supported this year’s cast and came to the show; we hope you enjoyed a glimpse into PAC history and enjoyed the wonderful dances. To the cast, your dedication and heart into this production is truly appreciated and I hope you all had a wonderful experience this season. Last but not least, GIF Board! We f*cking rocked it out there! Kudos to us! Can’t wait for assessment dinner… then assessment retreat! Weeeeee…

dreeewjaay:

I can’t even begin to tell you all how proud I am of her and how far we’ve come since coming to CSULB.  We were 2 Bay kids trying to create a new life away from home and now we were both Coordinators of amazing PCN’s for this family we call PAC.

dezaustria:

I know, I’m late, but this was the first thing I saw this morning. I started getting a bit emotional because the season is really coming to an end tomorrow night after curtain call. Although I was a tad bit MIA from PCN Board this year, I did my best to make the most out of my experience and really embrace everything I could. I couldn’t be any more thankful to be set with a board like this. So many different personalities and amazing individuals with something different to bring to the table to help create a foundation for Rhythm Culture!

Almost there board! Then, assessment dinner :)
…. AND THEN ASSESSMENT RETREAT! Sayyy whatt? haha.
I love you GIF BOARD

Thank you PCN…

…for reminding me why I love PAC, why I came back to PCN for a second year, and why I ran for PAC Cabinet after my first year.

Thank you to the PCN Coordinators Jenny and J-anne for doing an amazing job this year. I know how hard and long you two had been working to put together the show.

Thank you PCN Board for supporting the Coords and doing a great job with the show!

Thank you Tinik Coords for making my second year with Tinik one to remember. We really scrapped together a good group of newbies and a good batch of oldies this year.

Thank you PCN 2012 cast for making this PCN hella epic and amazing and wonderful and super fantastical and yeah…

PCN is the reason I came back to PAC my second year. It was so inspiring to see how all the newbies to PCN felt after. I remember seeing one of my friends tearing up and walking up to her and asking how she felt. She said that she was so sad that it was over and that she really wanted to do it again next year. This is the same girl who almost didn’t even do PCN this year.

PCN brings PAC, One Nation, and every other participating Org together for one thing. For the love of our culture and our want to express it to others.

Thank you PCN.
